Freezing temps and more snow

Old man winter will just not leave our little farm it seems. We have had another inch of snow over the weekend and the temps are not above freezing still. I am ready for spring! All of our animals are ready for warmer weather and being outdoors again.

The newest chicks are finally to an age where we should start to get brown eggs soon. I can not wait. Pullet eggs are just the cutest things! We have over wintered a total of 117 laying hens and will be ordering another 30 in early March.

4-H is in full swing again this year and DS has 13 projects to keep up with. Everything from poulty and horses to outdoor meals.
